The purpose of this presentation is to review the basic principle behind Chiropractic diagnostic approach to bio-mechanical spinal disorders. Emphasize will be made on the important concept of Intersegmental Dysfunction (I.S.D.), and its effect on overall spinal bio-mechanical function. Also the other important components of I.S.D., which involve much further than just the bio-mechanical aspects, will be reviewed. These can have rather important manifestations particularly in chronic cases and if unrecognized, can lead to inadequate treatment protocols allowing further regression in ISD staging.

H.
