Case Study – 19 (H. Sabbagh D.C.)

This patient is a 36 years-old white female who initially referred to my office complaining of a chronic moderate to severe pain with extensions into the right gluteal region, posterior right leg and right ankle. Patient indicated her systems had begun about six months ago following, lifting and carrying her child, and had gradually worsened during the following few weeks. She was examined by two neurosurgeons at that time; one recommended surgery and the other rest and water therapy. She had chosen water therapy and was given medication, including steroid injections, followed by NSAID for eight weeks. Patient further indicated having attended water therapy sessions for over 30 sessions, and had used the prescribed medication for the entire eight-week period, at which time due to stomach problems; ...................
